3. Pleasantree in Out “N” About Treehouse Resort

(Photo from Airbnb)

Location: Cave Junction, Oregon

Price: $325 in the summer, $200 in the winter

Book on TripAdvisor

I personally love this Treesort because it’s one of the biggest of its kind in the state. It’s like a big property with several treehouses, as well as a main lodge where everything you need is found, such as WiFi, arts and crafts activities, a shared kitchen, and a breakfast area for all guests.

I chose the Pleasantree treehouse because it’s an authentic treehouse experience - the canopy and branches of a tree support the structure. Though it does make a lot of noise when there’s strong wind and it shakes a little when kids are jumping or running around, it makes for a unique treetop accommodation. This treehouse features 3 beds and accommodates a group of up to 4 people.

It has 1 bathroom, and it’s elevated at 300 feet off the ground. There’s no kitchen but you can use the shared kitchen at the main lodge.

Another thing that I like is that there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy even without leaving the Treesort. There are massage services, a seasonal outdoor pool, ziplines, horseback riding, tire swings, and so much more. It’s the perfect place for families with kids to spend their Oregon summers.

4. Moosewood Cabin

(Photo from VRBO)

Location: Government Camp, Oregon

Price: $349

Book on Vrbo

The Moosewood Cabin is not exactly a treehouse but I included it in the list because of its unique take on its cabin structure. Instead of cutting down the trees that get in the way of the cabin, the owners or designer incorporated trees into the structure. A number of trees go through the house, creating a unique indoor/outdoor living experience for guests. You can be grilling on the deck BBQ grill but can also hug a tree while you’re at it.

Features of the cabin include 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and can sleep a total of 10 guests. There's an outdoor tub on the deck, a full kitchen, multiple decks with beautiful views of the woodland, a family room with games and TV, WiFi, and pet-friendly.

This cabin is perfect for big families or a large group of friends.

5. The Beach Treehouse

(Photo from VRBO)

Location: Lincoln City, Oregon

Price: $263

Book on Vrbo

Did you know you can stay at a treehouse on the beach? Oh, yes you can. It’s definitely possible on Oregon’s coast, where a 3-bedroom treehouse with 5 beds can sleep a total of 9 guests.

Features of this treehouse that are 2 blocks away from a sandy beach include a loft, an open kitchen, a deck, and stunning overlooking views of the beach.

Children are allowed, making it a family-friendly treehouse rental, but pets aren’t welcome on the premises.

6. Riverfront Treehouse

(Photo from VRBO)

Location: Rhododendron, Oregon

Price: $148

Book on Vrbo

And if there’s a beach treehouse, there's definitely a river treehouse in Oregon. This is also not a treehouse technically, but its elevation above the ground makes it closer to the trees, allowing you to spend time out on the deck and in close proximity to the trees that surround the property.

The Sandy River is only a few steps away from the cabin, giving guests a relaxing environment to spend a quiet few days in this wooded location.

Features of the cabin include 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, a washer and dryer area, a private library, and a loft. It can sleep a total of 6 guests, making it a great Oregon treehouse rental for a small family or group of friends.

Oregon is a beautiful state to spend holidays in the summer, which is perfect for families with kids who want to enjoy time together out in nature. These 6 treehouse rentals in Oregon are some of the most comfortable, modern, and cozy, and situated in locations that offer relaxation but are also close to towns and cities. Choose from any of these Oregon treehouse rentals for your next summer adventure with families and friends.
