This Cape Cod family-friendly treehouse getaway is perfect for water sports enthusiasts. Lieutenant Island is only a 1-minute walk away, which means the water is only a few steps away from the rental.

South Lieutenant Island Beach, on the other hand, is only 11 minutes away, and Marconi Beach is a 15-minute drive from the treehouse, giving you plenty of options when it comes to hitting the beach.

It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and sleeps 8, perfect for an entire family, or a big group. Features of the rental include a kitchen, a living area, a beautiful deck with outdoor seating, a BBQ grill, an outdoor shower, and a storage room which has 3 kayaks and beach equipment for guests to use.

From the deck, you can enjoy watching sunsets, and if these features are still not enough to get you excited about this treehouse, how about private beach access?  Guests are spoiled with private beach access directly on the property.

Perfect for entire families, or a group of friends on a holiday in Massachusetts, this treehouse is perfect for guests who plan on doing plenty of water activities.

2. Treehouse Lodge at Woods Hole

Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts

Price: $350

Book on Tripadvisor

Treehouse Lodge at Woods Hole is a hotel located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood in Falmouth. It is within walking distance of the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry, making it centrally located, with restaurants, shops, and entertainment in close proximity to the property.

I particularly like the Pavilion Room because it has a private balcony, where you have views of the garden and the hotel’s famous Fire Ball. This room sleeps 2 but can accommodate up to a group of 4 but with additional fees.

It has a private bathroom, a mini-fridge, a closet, and there’s WiFi but no TV. Kids can also stay here, but pets are not allowed. There are only two Pavilion Rooms in the hotel, making it one of the most coveted options for guests.

While the Treehouse Lodge is beautiful on its own, the property grounds are equally stunning. There are art installations, such as the Fire Ball, and there’s a shared fire pit for guests, yard games, and plenty of options for nearby activities and attractions.

Great dining and shopping are within walking distance from the hotel, making Treehouse Lodge a no-brainer if you're looking for a treehouse hotel in Massachusetts.

For Lake Buel accommodations, this treehouse cottage is a great choice. The Lake is only a minute’s walk from the treehouse, where views of the serene lake are viewed from the deck of the house. It has one bedroom, and 1 bathroom, and sleeps 2, but kids are welcome, so it’s a good choice for a small family or a couple on a weekend retreat.

The rental also has a charcoal grill on the deck, it has a kitchen, living area, outdoor space, air conditioning, and WiFi. It’s a simple, cozy, and charming treehouse cottage, with the lake only 30 yards away.

Guests can also use 2 kayaks, which are found on the property. For outside activities and attractions, a winery is a 4-minute drive away, and museums, restaurants, spas, and theaters are only a few minutes drive away, making this Massachusetts treehouse rental a great option for guests who want to enjoy New Marlborough and Lake Bruel all at once.

There’s a beautiful small yard that faces the lake, which makes it the perfect spot for a picnic. This treehouse rental in Massachusetts is perfect for families who want their own private outdoor space fright in front of a lake.

5. Serene Berkshires Cabin

Location: Otis, Massachusetts

Book on Bedroomvillas

This is a luxurious treehouse cabin in Otis that’s highly rated and booked all year round. The price is unavailable because it is said to be booked for the whole year of 2023 and 2024, with the earliest vacant date for booking being in the year 2025.

Nevertheless, I wanted to include it on the list because it’s the finest treehouse rental I could find for Otis, Massachusetts. I also love the fact that it has very high ceilings inside, giving you a feeling of a large space, even when this rental is technically called a cabin.

It has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and sleeps 8. This is perfect for a big family, a large group, or two families. There’s a fancy American kitchen, which shares the same expansive space as the living area. A flight of stairs then leads guests to the bedrooms, where each is tastefully decorated.

There’s also an entertainment area with a flat-screen TV, books, board games, magazines, and a keyboard for playing music. Beside the living area and before reaching the deck, there’s a screened-in porch with a table with seating, which makes for the perfect spot for drinking coffee in the morning.

Outside, you’ve got beautiful woodland surroundings, giving guests serenity, privacy, and peacefulness while creating unforgettable family vacation memories.

This charming treehouse studio offers stunning surroundings with flower trees around the property. In fact, the Bridge of Flowers is only an 11-minute walk away and can be seen from the treehouse. Everything is found in one large space inside, where a queen-sized bed, a small living area, and the kitchenette are all in one space.

There's also a bathroom, and the studio sleeps 2 but welcomes children, who can sleep on any of the two sofas found in the living space. There’s also WiFi and air conditioning, a balcony with seating for two, toys and games for entertainment, and a tennis court is also found within the property, which guests can also use.
